The GDPR has left many organisations confused about whether they need a Data Protection Officer. I.e. whether their core activities regularly and systematically process personal data on a large scale. Here's the ICO and WP29 page 20 guidance, which many find inconclusive.
DataGRC has developed this analysis tool to help organisations anonymously understand what their peers are doing. This does not provide a legally conclusive answer, but we hope it provides a useful indicator.
Our database was started on 18th May 2018, but is continually growing. If we do not have adequate information to immediately compare your company against similar organisations, we will let you know as soon as we do. As should be expected, we will not use your entry for any other purpose, nor sell it, nor share it beyond our processors.
