The ICO fined Oaklands Assist Ltd £150k for making unsolicited marketing calls to 64k people, between May and July 2017, without checking the Telephone Preference Service (TPS).

It was one of the most complained about organisations in June 2017, with 59 complaints.

We think they could have done with data protection advisory services from DataGRC and the Data Sentinel online Data Protection training, Records Management and Compliance Assessment tools.
